With 8.8 million global visitors during 2015, Tourism Victoria’s consumer site is a key marketing channel for Gippsland, Melbourne and Victoria. The new site is a significant enhancement on the previous version providing the consumer with a graphically appealing design, quality Gippsland content and enhanced navigation and search.

Key elements of the new site design include:

  • Enhanced imagery – larger graphics, updated fonts
  • New grid modules – better visual display of content
  • Simplified navigation – easier linkages through site, carousel modules
  • Regional navigation – contextual navigation content relevant to the
  • Improved search – simplified search functionality providing improved user
  • Responsive design – changes size depending on desktop/tablet view, tablet
    friendly navigation features
  • Video integration – improved video modules across the site
  • New business listings – improved layout, graphics and focus on conversion
  • New social media module – focus on instagram content
  • Campaign Integration – the new design factors in requirements to
    incorporate future campaigns, the new site will integrate the regional
    campaign content and videos from end of February.
  • Language Variants – All eight foreign language variants have been updated
    to the new design
