The RACV Gippsland Tourism Conference 2016 is being hosted in the Baw Baw Shire at Lardner Park on Tuesday 13 September and at Walhalla on Wednesday 14 September 2016.

It is supported by the RACV Inverloch Resort, Baw Baw Shire Council, Walhalla & Mountain Rivers Tourism Association, Walhalla Goldfields Railway, Gippsland Trade Printers and Southern Cross Austereo.

Here are my five reasons why you should put aside aside these two days and attend our annual conference which is themed ‘Collaboration – shaping the future of Gippsland Tourism.’

1. Network with like minded Industry colleagues

You have been working hard all year so it’s an opportunity to take leave of your business or work to connect and share conversation and ideas with like minded people in the industry, cement old friendships or establish new ones.

2. Understand what is shaping the future of Gippsland Tourism.

It is a chance to understand what is shaping the future of Gippsland Tourism and tourism in general and how that will impact on your business or your work in the industry.

3.You don’t know what you don’t know.

The conference is an opportunity to find some clarity, reinforce what you do know and learn something of value that you can bring to your business or your work that you didn’t know.

4. Professional Development

It provides a professional development opportunity for the industry to improve skills and profitability of tourism businesses as well as facilitating continuous improvement in the delivery of tourism services in Gippsland.

5. It won’t be an annual conference without you.

You are the industry, the conference is for you the business operators  and those people who work to promote and support the industry. It is aims to provide opportunities for all businesses and partners to engage with us to grow and contribute to a united tourism industry.   We can’t do that without you.

So please diarise the dates, clear the decks, book in the time, schedule the opportunity and book now to secure your registration.   All program details and ticketing prices can be found online at the Gippsland Tourism Conference.
